On Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, we gather to celebrate the release of Dr. Micah Johnson’s novella entitled Never Had a Friend.
The book is a part of a multi-medium collection of artistic works that discuss trauma, homelessness, and the capacity for art and positive relationships to foster resilience. It will be an epic event!
Purpose
The purpose of this collection is to foster support for the 2.5 million children who experience homelessness in the U.S. each year; promote art as a method to help folks heal from traumatic experiences and empower marginalized voices; and launch a targeted performance tour and eventually distribute the piece on a major media platform.
