The Super Asian Buffet touts themselves online as one of the best Asian buffets in Tampa, and their menu boasts, "The Largest and Most Elegant Multicultural Buffet in Town." But, believe me, there is nothing elegant about this place whatsoever. It's a shame because it could be with some TLC. They are located in a big, nice looking building in a good location at Waters Ave. and the Veterans Expressway in front of Lowe's. But here are the problems and constructive criticisms I have with the place; 1. The concrete floor on the outside front entry was dirty, grimy, stained and had gum residue. 2. The inside had very dirty and ripped carpet. 3. The back of the booth bench closest to the host stand was extremely dirty. 4. Bathrooms were ugly and outdated; even a fresh paint job would help. 5. The whole interior could use a fresh paint job. 6. The labels over the buffet food items were written on paper and taped at the ends of each buffet, not directly over the food items. The labels were small, hard to read, and some words wearing out. 7. They need at least one staff member on duty that can speak good English. Pros: 1.Food was good. 2.Exterior of building looked nice. 3.Good location. 4.Ample parking.

The back of the booth bench closest to the host stand was extremely dirty. 4. Bathrooms were ugly and outdated; even a fresh paint job would help. 5. It took me 15 mins. to determine whether the made to order sushi was included in the lunch buffet price or not. No signs were posted, and the Sushi chef, host, and waiter I spoke to could barely speak English. I finally was able to construe that only the pre-made sushi rolls were included and the made to order cost extra during lunch. 8. Their menu still reflects the old lunch price of $6.99, not $7.99. Maybe the increase can help buy new carpet.

My daughter and I went to Super Asian Buffet based on the grand opening dollar off add picture that shows great looking sushi. The food was the worst Chinese I have eaten in Tampa. The sushi is nothing like the photo on the add. Not even the soup was edible. This restaurant will never survive in the big building it is in with this quality of food. I can't express enough how disappointing this meal was.

Pros: Accessible parking is the only pro here.

Cons: Much of the food tastes like it was frozen and shipped in from somewhere far away.

My favorite place to eat for a Chinese Buffet.

Pros: Even thought it's a buffet, the sushi variety is great and fresh. Good Variety of common and uncommon food.

Cons: Some items take longer then others to be replaced on the buffet.
