NOPE of Hillsborough hosts its 10th Annual Candlelight Vigil October 7, 2021 at 7 pm at Hillsborough High School. This free community event helps raise the awareness of addiction and honors those who have lost their lives or loved ones to addiction.

NOPE of Hillsborough will host its 10th Annual Candlelight Vigil on October 7, 2021 starting at 7 pm. (We invite you to arrive as early as 6 pm to view and reflect on our Memorial Wall which honors those lives lost to a substance-related death.)
This powerful one-hour community event will be held at Hillsborough High School, located at 5000 N Central Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. Admission and parking are free.
This vigil is held in memory of those who have lost their lives due to drug and alcohol-related incidents, to honor those who have lost a loved one to a substance-related death, and to help those living with the challenges associated with the disease of addiction.
The emcee for this special evening will be James Tully, ABC Action News Anchor. Songwriter and guest speaker Kyle Winter will share an inspiring story of recovery.
Songs and stories will be shared before we move outside to the school’s front lawn to light candles in honor of those lives lost to substance abuse. If you would like to add your loved one’s story and photo to this year’s Memorial Wall please bring it to the Vigil at 6 pm.
