Come see how much we all remember from grade school and give back to the community during the 2nd Annual "Buzzed" Spelling Bee + School Supply Drive.
Event Details
Bring a school supply donation (or $15 cash donation) to our “Backpack to School” Drive Party to join the party.
Watch or join in the spelling bee (Participation is on a first come, first serve basis). Winner gets prizes from 81Bay! Every attendee who donates gets a FREE beer (from a select menu) and multiple chances to win prizes from our awesome sponsors:

Why a School Supply Drive?
Studies show that when kids have new school supplies of their own: grades, classroom behavior, and engagement improve; self-esteem increases; and attitudes toward school and learning strengthen.
Metropolitan Ministries works to get kids the supplies they need by providing backpacks, uniforms and school supplies to more than 250 children annually.
Simply Stated Media, 81Bay Brewing Company, and 813area.com have teamed up to help them!
We are hosting a “Back Pack to School” Supply Drive to collect the items that students need most as they enter the new school year.
