The Ultimate Brewer

Two unusual ingredients were randomly drawn and participating breweries have to come up with the best way to demonstrate those flavors in their beer. New this year was the drawing of three possible broad style categories including Light, Dark, and Sour. Breweries choose from numerous styles among these categories. Garlic, Wasabi, or Hazelnut might test a brewers creativity, but combine one of those with pineapple, coriander, or chives and now you have quite the challenge. These ingredients are kept secret and the beers are tasted blind on March 6th 7-10pm.

The winner will be chosen between a balance of two votes: Consumer Choice as chosen by you, and the Pro Panel chosen by the participating brewers. The brewery with the most votes wins The Ultimate Brewer 2020, will have their name etched on the trophy, and will be presented with the opportunity to brew the official beer of TBBW 2021. The trophy currently resides at Hidden Springs, 2018 and 2019 champion and brewer of this years official beer of TBBW 2020. Will they be champions again? You decide.

Ticket price includes a commemorative sampling glass, samples of each of the contestants, and a 16oz Hidden Springs beer.
