On August 5th, the iconic downtown St. Petersburg seafood staple, The Oyster Bar, invites the public to celebrate National Oyster Day. The restaurant is almost a quarter century old, and within the historic brick walls, they’ll be staffing fresh shuckers, mixologists, and importing the best fresh oysters money can buy. The oyster selection is based on availability, and varietals could include imports from British Columbia, Rhode Island, Maine, California, Florida, and more. Oysters sold in singles, half dozen, and dozen.
