Event Details
On Saturday, October 2, St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, Tampa, will host its 34th Annual Blessing of the Animals Celebration.
We will gather together under the oaks at 10 AM for an outdoor Worship Service, celebrating God’s Creation and the wonderful animal companions who have come into our lives. Each animal will receive a blessing and a St. Francis medal. The service will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook.
In the St. Clement’s courtyard, at approximately 10:45 AM, Fr. Andrew Heyes will celebrate a Remembrance Service in the St. Francis Garden.
Social distancing will be required at both services.
If either the weather or COVID prevents hosting the outdoor services, then we will switch to Drive-Thru Animal Blessings. Whatever changes we have to make in these uncertain times, we will ensure that our beloved companions receive their blessings.
We look forward to seeing your entire family, including pets.
