Sprint for Safety is a free, fun, virtual event for anyone who lives or works in Citrus, Hernando Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas Counties. Choose to run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) or 1 mile anywhere from October 1 through October 31, 2021.

October is National Pedestrian Safety Month! Bike/Walk Tampa Bay and the Florida Department of Transportation District 7 invite you to get outdoors and walk or run during a fun challenge as we raise awareness about pedestrian safety.
It is easy to participate: Document your time running or walking using the fitness app of your choice, and then upload a screenshot to Race Roster. Complete a 5K and receive a free beautiful commemorative race medal. Complete 1 mile and receive a digital Certificate of Completion. We also encourage you to upload a photo to the gallery from your run or walk.
