The School is part of the College of The Arts (CoTA). The University of South Florida School of Theatre and Dance is committed to facilitating creative and academic artists and scholars though rigorous training in the studio, the classroom, and in performance. Both programs are exclusively undergraduate in focus and housed in their own facilities on a large liberal arts campus. The dance program is focused on rigorous and intensive training in ballet, modern dance and choreography, while the theatre program provides the opportunity for intensive study in performance, design and theatre studies. The School of Theatre and Dance is one of four academic units in USF's College of The Arts, along with the Schools of Architecture and Community Design, Art and Art History, and Music.
