The Sixth Annual Barkarilla is a pirate pooch parade and NEW this year Pup Crawl!! Come join us and Initiate the Gasparilla Parade Season to Benefit Animal Based Charities, Inc. - a 501(c)-3 charity assisting over 70 Animal Rescue Organizations of the Tampa Bay Area.
The Gasparilla Pageant Queens will be crowning the lucky pooches who win the King and Queen of Barkarilla Contest!! In addition to the crown and title, these lucky dogs will take home great gift baskets.
There are also contests for Best Pirate Pooch, Best Pirate and Pirate Pooch, Best Pirate Puppy, Best Old Sea Dog, Best Pirate Pooch Krewe and Best Pirate Pooch Float with trophies awarded!
No charge for canines, $5.00 for humans! All dogs must be leashed!
- Pirate Pooch Parade begins at 2:00 with a new route down 8th Avenue in Ybor
City!!
- Street Magic by Mr. Bones, Tampa's Premiere Pirate Magician!
- Live DJ!
- Join us at Cristino's Pet Friendly Patio with Fully Stocked Bar, Great Italian Menu,
Fresh Coal Oven-Baked Pizzas and Gelato Bar!
- Convenient City Parking on N. 19th St., between 7th and 8th Ave., in Ybor City.
