It's time for Cranksgiving Tampa 2022! Our 11th annual event will be taking place on a *Sunday* this year, so mark down the date now so you don't forget. We'll be back at the wonderful Coppertail Brewing this year, as well. We can't wait to see you there!

WHAT IS CRANKSGIVING?
Cranksgiving is a bicycle scavenger hunt and food drive, and these events take place across the nation during the month of November to benefit local charities as they prepare for Thanksgiving. The 11th edition of Cranksgiving Tampa will continue to benefit Metropolitan Ministries.
In the first decade of Cranksgiving Tampa, we've donated 15,200 total pounds of food, including 402 turkeys, to Metropolitan Ministries. As we move into Year 11, we're hoping to reach that elusive "ton" donation (2,000 pounds in a single year). We'll also be having a raffle again this year - this year, all of our raffle proceeds will be going to Reach St. Pete and their mobile Pop-Up Pantry, which provides fresh groceries free of cost to those who live in food deserts. This local nonprofit was founded in 2016 with the goal of bridging the gap between people and the resources they need to help prevent and alleviate homelessness, low-income, and at-risks situations.
THE BASICS:
There is no entry fee for Cranksgiving Tampa, but please bring money to purchase food items during the scavenger hunt (approx. $10-$15). You will need to decide if you are riding in a team or on your own. You will be provided a list of food items to purchase, as well as specific grocery stores around Tampa where you'll be riding to in order to buy those items.
Riders are encouraged to wear helmets and bring bike locks and a bag to carry your purchases. After the results are tallied, all of the food is delivered to the Metropolitan Ministries holiday tent in downtown Tampa for donation.
