In relation to most gay bathhouses, YBOR Resorts & Spa, is fairly typical. The amenities are acceptable, but not exceptional. I booked a 'room' from the locations website http://www.yborresortandspa.com. The website clearly explains this as a gay resort with rooms for rent. I made a three day, two night reservation while visiting from out of state. I was extremely disappointed that each staff member creates their own policies and procedures. You must surrender your key upon leaving the facility even though the room contains all your possessions. They require that you forfeit your driver's license or photo identification upon check-in to receive the keys. The rooms are non ADA compliant and are not exceptionally clean. No parking is available on site. Fire evacuation maps, simple check in and check out proceedures are not available for guest viewing. Simple conveniences such as washcloths, tissue, or blow-dryer are not provided. I would not recommend YBOR Resort and Spa as a hotel to anyone expecting typical transient guest accommodations.

Went there over several years. Not so good last few. Detroit seems better but too cold in winter. Drug delers running wild. Maybe better that it closed and then burned. Next vacation somewhere else in Florida.

DL Bruth here and looking for a low key place 2 chill. Most of guys are a little 2 fem 4 my taste . Place was all right but seem like same people u see everywhere. Seems like everyone more into drug than sex. I passed one of hotel room and saw a skinny white guy and a black guy that i remember from UT selling that meth. That Black dude married LMAO crazy ass shit selling with people at door.
