A day at  Busch Gardens is always destined for fun! It has a little bit for everyone with tons of rides for all ages, games and exhibits and plenty of safari animals.

Now that they've reopened, anyone under two must wear a mask and they're asking everyone to practice social distancing. Read their full list of health and safety requirements before you start planning your trip and be sure to make a reservation.

To make the most of your day, check the weather, park hours, and special showtimes before you head out the door.

Check the Weather and Bring the Right Gear!

Let's face it, it's Tampa, and you could expect all types of weather from high temperatures, to humidity, a breezy day, and of course rain. Gearing up for any type of weather is key to your perfect Busch Gardens day. Shorts and tank tops are great for a hot and humid day, but if you have no sunscreen you're going to have a rough ride home. The bulk of Busch Gardens rides and attractions are few places to hide from the rain. If you end up during a summer Florida storm, take the opportunity to catch one of their family-friendly shows!

Save Money Now

The park is offering big savings now so it's a perfect time if you've been putting off buying an annual pass holder pass. Though no food and drink is allowed to be brought in you can bring in a water bottle, and with water fountains all over the park to refill them this is a key to staying hydrated throughout the whole day. If you need something else to snack on throughout the day make sure you buy the souvenir cup and popcorn bucket which allows you to refill either one for under $2.
