A: Amalie Arena encompasses 670,000 square feet with three decks and seven separate levels. The building is 133 feet 10 inches in height and 493 feet in diameter. It contains 3,400 tons of steel, 30,000 cubic yards of concrete and 70,000 square feet of glass. The innovative design of Amalie Arena provides for 19,092 seats for NHL games, 20,500 seats for Basketball games and up to 21,500 seats for concerts and center stage events.

A: There are bars located at sections 101, 106, 116, 204, 210, 216 as well as on the Heineken Rooftop at 214, the 308 Budweiser Biergarten between 304 and 328 and Coors Light Between the Pipes at 325. There are also portable beer vendors located all around the concourses.

Q: What is the bag policy at Amalie Arena?

A: All bags that are permitted inside the venue will be subject to a search by staff. Guests with prohibited items will be asked to return them to their vehicle prior to entering the venue. Small personal bags (purses, baby bags, etc.) must be smaller than 12x12x12" and will be permitted inside AMALIE Arena, while large bags, backpacks, wrapped packages, etc. will not be permitted inside the venue and should be taken back to the guest’s vehicle.

Q: What is the re-entry policy at Amalie Arena?

A: Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment is committed to the safety and well-being of all guests, employees, players and performers. Because of those safety and security concerns, AMALIE Arena does not permit guests to exit and re-enter the facility during hockey games or events. Guests wishing to exit AMALIE Arena for any reason will not be allowed back into the arena, per the facility’s re-entry policy.

A: Video and audio recording equipment is not permitted in AMALIE Arena unless otherwise stated for a specific event.

Q: What are the door opening times at Amalie Arena?

A: Door opening times may vary depending on the type of event, typically 60-90 minutes before showtime. Normally doors will open for a Tampa Bay Lightning game 60 minutes prior to the start of the game. Doors for Chase Club, VIP Lounge and Executive Suite guests will open 90 minutes prior to the start of the game. All other events are subject to releasing a door time. All scheduled times are subject to change without notice.

Q: Are food and beverages allowed in Amalie Arena?

A: Guests may not bring food and/or beverages into AMALIE Arena, at any time except for medical purposes. Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into Amalie Arena.
