Crazy Cafe

This place was new to the Pavilion Shopping Center and it took me a very long time before I checked them out. Immediately, I realized I have been missing out for a very long time. Crazy Cafe's service, atmosphere and food is far from what you would expect from a shopping center restaurant. They have some of the best sushi in Brandon and probably in the top 3 of Tampa Bay. I highly recommend checking them out as you won't be disappointed!

Pros: Delicious sushi, hidden gem so they are no over crowded and really friendly service.

Cons: I never heard of friends going here and was kept in the dark.

Crazy Cafe recently opened its doors in Riverview. I watched with anticipation as the signs came up when I first came back to Tampa early in 2012 from traveling. The restaurant is very nice inside and the employees are very welcoming to diners. I came in to do a take-out order and had some nice discussions with the cashier, apparently they also own a restaurant out in New Tampa called Sushi Cafe - I'll have to check that out now that I live closer to USF. Anyway, I ordered a few rolls to-go and the employee threw in some pieces of one of their specials for FREE. Awesome. Not only that, but the receipt had a special to receive a discount the next time I visit. The sushi itself was pretty good, I really enjoyed my rolls and there is no location closer for those who live out on Faulkenberg Road area. I can confidently recommend Crazy Cafe and plan on returning back soon.

I love the monster and caterpillar rolls, I've never had any sushi like that before!! Even in NYC. Those are my new favorite rolls! I have ordered hibachi in store and to go, but the to go is never as good.

This is my new favorite Japanese Restaurant!

Pros: The food is delicious and affordable. Way better than Kobe steakhouse. I will go back to this place. The staff is friendly.

Cons: Hard to choose what to eat there.
