Brunch is spelled Y-U-M in Tampa's Seminole Heights! There's so much goodness to choose from, it could leave your head spinning. The variety almost begs for a weekly brunch hop, so pick a new spot every week. After you’ve hit each of them, start all over again!

318 S Edison Ave, Tampa FL, 33606
This is the place for an authentic café experience. Get there before the Seminole Heights location closes April 7 for mouth-watering homemade options like the sconewich: Irish cheddar, bacon, and asiago with two eggs (any style) on top. The quiche selection changes daily, so be sure to ask!

Baguettes, omelets, and croissants offer a variety with different meat, cheeses, and veggie topping options. Jack’s French Toast comes with freshly-made orange zest honey butter. Of course, a café with espresso in its name must serve coffee, and that, it does! They offer specialty coffees galore as well as teas and smoothies. Brunch served daily until 4 p.m.
5910 N Florida Ave, Tampa FL, 33604
The Refinery has a delightful Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a menu including green curry banana pancakes, pastrami toast, and a gluten-free cornmeal fried catfish with cheese grits, tomato gravy, and scrambled eggs.

Among an array of sides from which to choose is the sweet biscuit debris consisting of powdered sugar, fried biscuit bits, and jam. It’s limited in supply, however, so get there before it’s gone! As far as drinks go, the manmosa- a pint-size version of the classic mimosa– is highly recommended.
5016 N Florida Ave, Tampa FL, 33603
Going strong since 2005, this craft beer establishment serves brunch daily until 3 p.m. A couple of German-style include the leberkäse and egg sandwich, which consists of pressed veal loaf and spicy German mustard, and then there's the Bavarian breakfast, a German brat with German mustard and, of course, a Bavarian soft pretzel. There’s also green eggs and ham, breakfast tacos, and assorted local baked goods. Craft beer is always on tap for those who like to get started early.
6005 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa FL, 33604
Why is it called the C House? The menu items all start with the letter C. Brunch options, Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., include challah French toast, a country breakfast casserole, chocolate chip or classic pancakes, crab cake benedict, and two chef’s omelet options.

And who can deny chicken ‘n’ waffles? The chicken is fried in buttermilk and arrives at your table atop an orange vanilla Belgian waffle with chipotle honey, whipped sweet butter, and everyone’s favorite Canadian maple syrup. Since it’s The C House, side items are referred to as “complements” and offer cheese grits, candied bacon, country sausage, chef’s breakfast potatoes, and country wheat toast.
7410 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa FL, 33604
Crave brunch 24/7? Three Coins Diner, noted for its friendly staff and generous portions, has you covered since 1984. Its classic diner menu is endless and has everything you can dream of from eggs and omelets to pancakes, waffles, and French toast. There are also three breakfast wrap options.
5924 N Florida Ave, Tampa FL, 33604
The seasonal Sunday brunch buffet (10 a.m. to 2 p.m., October through April) has your staple bacon, sausage and eggs along with some brunch twists like “sexxxy grits,” poached egg biscuits ‘n’ gravy basa with mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, scallions, and lemon butter sauce. There’s also glazed pork ribs and grilled chicken. Specialty homemade bread is also available. Cost is $19 for adults and $9 for kids ages six to 12. Mimosas are $4 and are offered in mixed berry, apple cinnamon, and classic orange flavors.
4703 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa FL, 33603
Pancakes, omelets, and eggs- oh my! Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. stop by to dig in on huevos rancheros, egg benedict on grilled sourdough with pancetta and hollandaise, and a side of asparagus and breakfast potatoes. Lunch-ier type options include Japanese curry, ribs and grits, and a spicy tuna shima bowl. There’s a variety of sandwiches from which to choose as well as sides.

If you're looking for a down-home brunch spot, Trips is it! Serving Seminole Heights since 2012, the restaurant is named for the owners' TRIPlets. Be prepared for a line on weekends. If you aren't up for a wait, give them a call for take-out service. A classic diner menu serving all of your brunch favorites, their must-have is the thick-cut applewood bacon.

Was searching this site for good Brunch places for my girlfriends and I and happened upon this article. Frankly, it sounds like youve never set foot in half if not all of these places. Id expect some personal accounts, which is why I came to this type of site. These are generic descriptions that could be about ANY place ANY place in the work
*world. I'm just saying as someone that was born and raised in Seminole Heights, the fact you dismissed these beloved places as if they were chain restaurants is sad. You are cleaely new to the area and need to do a bit more research before acting as if you are an expert....frustrated to say the least.
Hi Bianca! Welcome to MyArea Network! Thanks for registering and taking the time to post your feedback. By no means to I claim to be an expert; I was assigned this topic by my editor and instructed to write it in "listicle" format. I researched using the restaurant web sites, as well as Facebook and Yelp reviews. I have been to many of these spots, however, this is not a blog format, which is why I did not inject any personal experience. Writers are constantly learning and I felt like I learned a lot putting this listicle together.
