SECURITY OFFICER (FULL TIME)This position is responsible for promoting an outgoing, friendly, customer-oriented personality at all times. They will provide basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees, and the company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • 1 year of guest service experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
  • Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly
  • Must have a valid motor vehicle license with a good driving record
  • Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

 

EVENT SECURITY OFFICER (ON-CALL)This position is responsible for promoting an outgoing, friendly, customer-oriented personality at all times. They will provide basic security coverage during events on property to ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees, and the company.

 

Qualifications and work environment:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • 1 year of guest service experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English through radio without any medical limitations
  • Must be alert and handle emergency situations calmly
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise

BIKE PATROL SECURITY OFFICER (FULL TIME & ON-CALL)This position ensures safety and security of vehicles in lots and garages by reporting all suspicious behavior to a Security Supervisor whether these acts were from an employee or a patron. Directs vehicular traffic in self-parking garage, employee parking areas, surface parking lots and throughout the property. Always keeps alert for unauthorized attempts to remove vehicles and promotes an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality while providing basic security coverage to protect patrons, employees and the company.

 

Qualifications and work environment:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of guest service experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and fast paced situations.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, ride a bike for long periods of time, able to climb steps, respond to emergency situations and handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities

 

CROWD CONTROL SPECIALIST (ON-CALL)This position is responsible for making sure patrons are not acting aggressively or destructively, and to protect staff, property and equipment from damage.  The ideal candidate must be able to determine what to do quickly before a situation gets out of control and use his/her problem-solving skills to resolve all issues.

 

Qualifications and work environment:

  • High school diploma.
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a Bouncer or similar.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Formal civilian-related security training is preferred.
  • Refined crowd management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Unrivaled observational and conflict management skills.
  • Capacity to be stern, as required.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Physically agile with impeccable reflexes.
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Possess great physical stamina.
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk around the property. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
