This position is responsible for providing massages and facial treatments to spa guests.
High School Diploma or GED required
Must hold a valid Florida state and national certification for massage therapy, must also be insured
Must have efficient practice of Swedish, deep tissue, hot rock, reflexology, and aromatherapy massages as well as body treatments
Must have strong coping and communication skills capable of professional decision making and effective problem solving while attending to our guests and fellow employees
A minimum of five years experience in a luxury spa setting is required. Ability to respond to guests needs while always maintaining a professional scope of practice
A positive and energetic personality with a desire to succeed in the spa industry
Must possess exceptional guest service skills
Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Must have basic computer skills
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the hotel and spa of the property, which can be faced-paced. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
