A good value for lunch or dinner but more options with dinner. Quality is surprisingly good for an all-you-can eat place and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The best bang for your buck as a college student. The lunch special is worth it when you're looking to eat everything!

Koizi is an hibachi all-you-can-eat restaurant in New Tampa. What separates this restaurant from other buffets is everything is made-to-order so you know your sushi and your hibachi is always made fresh. The lunch buffet is only $8.95 and the dinner is $15.95 for all-you-can-eat hibachi, sushi, entrees, and dessert.They offer a USF discount for dinner as well. The steak is NY sirloin. This is definitely a place i would recommend and come back to.

I came back here for the second time during lunch today. I had a great experience last time but this time it was just really bad. The waitress I had was doing a couple tables at once like usual but whenever we tried to order we had to flag her down every 20 minutes we stayed there for a while just because we couldn't even order our food. Also, the food we ordered only about 1/4 made it on the table. We decided to forget the ones that didn't come. I even ordered from the gecko; a sushi roll, that never even made it to the table and the rest of my company didn't even get most of their food. We never got refills until again, flagging the waitress down. The restaurant wasn't even full to be honest and she kept saying the sushi orders are backed up. Then I saw her family coming in and I even was exhausted by it cause now I know that she definitely will forget about us. So after we ate ice cream, which I was surprised that came, we decided to just take the check and go. The check was split into two checks, one for two people and another for 3 people. The check was added with .18% tip.. because it was a party of 6 apparently.. They counted my niece with the bill.. a 11 month baby that did

The prices are simply amazing, I'm not sure how long the owner can keep them so low. The lunch buffet is only $8.95 for all-you-can-eat hibachi, sushi, entrees, and dessert. The sushi options are pretty good, but don't expect the best quality of fish, but they don't cheap out and give you bad fish either. Dinner adds more options and is still affordable at $18.95. They offer a USF discount for dinner and specials through their Facebook page as well. The steak is NY sirloin and tastes great and the hibachi chefs are funny and entertaining. They carry Japanese soda called Ramune as well, which I love! The service experiences I have had are positive, just don't be afraid to order more food - your servers will comply.
