Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform
  • Adheres to all service standards to indirectly create “Ale House Raving Fans”
  • Works directly with Team Members to ensure all the Guest’s needs are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Ensures proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; ensures compliance with food handling requirements
  • Preps foods according to recipe specifications for setup of stations, adheres to the amount on productions board
  • Collects bus tubs and dirty dishes from FOH and BOH areas
  • Ensures a supply of clean and ready dish supplies for cooks, servers, and bartenders
  • Re-stocks areas aimed at easy access for other staff members
  • Communicates with fellow Team Members and Management to keep one another informed
  • Maintains neat and organized work areas; to include sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Accomplishes end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled Prep Cook/Dishwasher to take over
  • Notifies Management immediately of any potential problem



  • Washes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift
  • Wears and changes gloves between each task and often during the shift
  • Maintains a clean and sanitized workstation throughout the shift
  • Ensures all food is maintained at required temperature zones
  • Adheres to proper stacking order, rotation, and labeling of food
  • Adheres to cross-contamination and allergy standards


  • Supports other Back of House functions as needed, ensuring that everything within the 4 walls of the restaurant is every Team Member’s responsibility; occasionally being assigned another station
  • Positively communicates with other Team Members and Management to keep one another informed
  • Provides exceptional service throughout the entire shift
  • Possesses basic reading skills and strong communication skills; can work alone as well as with a team
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Sets up Team Members for success at shift change by ensuring side work and stations are properly stocked


The Prep Cook/Dishwasher is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:

  • Remain standing for extended periods of time in a work area that has an elevated air temperature
  • Reaching, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and lifting, up to 50 lbs., for short distances
  • Frequent communication with Managers and Team Members. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
