Notable wing slingers and sports bar purveyors, WingHouse will be opening their 20th Florida location in Brandon on Thursday, September 29.

Founded in 1994 by Crawford Ker, a once-renowned footbal player for the University of Florida, Dallas Cowboys, and Denver Broncos, WingHouse aims to be an epicenter for oversized entrees, wings, beer, sports and more in the various communities they reside in.

The Brandon location is no exception.  Located at 775 West Brandon Boulevard, the Brandon WingHouse resides in the large building that once housed the Roadhouse Grill.  Winghouse officials expect the Brandon location to be a big hit, especially with an opening early in the 2011 NFL season.

The festivities on Thursday, September 29 will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce at 3 p.m. with the restaurant opening to the public at 4 p.m.. From 6 to 8 p.m., Crawford Ker, fellow NFL alumni, and a handful of local celebrities will be at the new Brandon WingHouse for pictures and autographs.
