Hundreds of local bands would kill for a chance to perform alongside national acts at 97X's annual Next Big Thing...so this year, 97X and Ferg's Live Tampa teamed up to let top up-and-comers go head-to-head LIVE for a chance to win the opening spot at this year's #97XNBT on December 5th!

97X has selected the top 10 bands to battle for the coveted opening spot.

Joel from 97X will host all five Fridays of the Local Band Search, and only on-site votes will be counted, so get out here and help your favorite band make it onto the #97XNBT stage!

Local Band Search Schedule:

10/1 - Southview and ON THE AVENUE
11/6 - New Cathedral and Saved by Friday
11/13 - Denim Blue Music and Rising Down
11/20 - Hope Darling and Dropin Pickup
11/27 - Malaya and WD HAN
