BeerFest will be one of five official sites where aspiring amateurs can compete in the US Open MiniGolf Challenge on a three-hole minigolf putting course. The top five competitors will win prizes and be invited to the US Open Minigolf Championship at The Patio sports bar on Sunday, June 19. There is no cost to compete, and players are encouraged to bring their own putters.

Patrons are also invited to don their over-the-top country club best, dress as their favorite character, or come in a Happy Gilmore-inspired costume.

And though the theme may be silly, the purpose is most serious: Now in its 5th year, the (almost) annual BeerFest is one of Tampa Theatre’s favorite fundraising events, benefiting the historic movie palace’s artistic, educational and community programs, as well as its ongoing preservation and restoration.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate in this event. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
