A fundraising event for participants to register, raise a minimum of $1,500 in exchange for the once in a lifetime opportunity to rappel down a 13 story building located on Rocky Point Drive in Tampa. Take a friend, form a team - make a difference.
Event Details
We are looking for people who are thrill seekers, think outside the box, have a daredevil inside them, are superheroes and who want to tap into their philanthropic goals for a worthy cause. Jillian's Dream, Rappel for lung cancer research will allow these participants both. By registering and agreeing to fundraise a minimum of $1,500, "Edgers" will secure their spot to get into a helmut, harness, gloves provided by Over the Edge, USA and under the careful supervision of trained professionals, rappel down the 13 story Island Center office Building at Rocky Point on December 13, 2014. Each participant will get a thrilling experience, get an adrenaline rush and breathtaking views of the entire Tampa Bay. Participants can register as an individual or team. All funds raised benefit UALC and the innovative researchers working towards a cure of lung cancer; the deadliest, most misunderstood and least funded. Rappel for lung cancer research in which "Anyone can do ANYTHING once".
