his evening class taught by Beth Ireland is an introduction to the art of woodturning.
This class will benefit furniture makers, artists, sculptors and wood lovers. Whether you are a beginner, or even if you have been turning for a while this class will provide a safe atmosphere to develop and improve your wood turning skills. You will have your own lathe and plenty of hands on time to work on a wide range of projects. You will focus on three areas of wood turning – Spindle (handles, wine stoppers, rolling pins), Face work (bowls, platters, plates), and Endgrain (bowls, boxes, goblets).
