While we love the SoHo district for its diverse entertainment options, we at the Backyard thought we could fill the need for a more low key, date-friendly restaurant/bar – an alternative to the massive crowds and loud music. Our concept is built around the hospitality industry itself because we are firm believers that if you want to find the best places to go in any city, ask a bartender. This is why you’ll find high top tables, lots of bar space, a relaxed atmosphere and the full lunch and dinner menu served until last call.

The SOHO Backyard is a great spot for brunches with bottomless mimosas and great breakfast food!
Great location and a nice alternative to busy SOHO area. Enjoyed drinks and apps and the staff is very friendly!
Good food served late, and friendly staff.
Why am I reviewing this place, when I don't want anyone that doesn't know about it already to be there??
Pros: In the middle of Hyde Park/SoHo, we need a place for those of us that live there. For those that can walk to the bar and hang with our friends.
Cons: You might read this and come. At least know someone there before you show up, don't think of this as an invitation. A true locals bar is hard to find around these parts. Except for Tiny Tap. But who can do that every day?
