Replay Guitar Exchange, a store that sells new, pre-owned & vintage guitars and amps, is delighted to welcome Tom Bedell to its stage for an evening of guitar talk and demos of his famous, American made instruments.
Bedell guitars are known for their high quality and eco-friendly origins. Their tag line, “Seed-to-song,” describes how the company oversees production of their guitars. The company views the process holistically from the period of time trees are grown and harvested through the wood’s transformation into hand-made guitars. No clear-cut trees are ever used in the production of Bedell Guitars. They specialize in using “treasured tonewood” to hand craft guitars of incredible sound and quality. Tom Bedell oversees production and signs the label of each guitar before it is made available for sale.
Replay Guitar Exchanges’ acoustic guitar specialist, Dave Haley, was asked to describe how Bedell guitars are different from other brands. “When I play my Bedell guitar, I can feel it in my core. There’s nothing else quite like it.”
Dave, a guitar player since age seven, has had the good fortune to play many different kinds of guitars in the past. “I own several wonderful acoustic guitars and I play all of them. But my Bedell is the one I keep coming back to when I want to play.”
In early November, Dave will have the honor of attending a special 2017 guitar preview event at the home of Tom Bedell in Nashville, TN. Often purchased by collectors and professionals, Bedell guitars range in price from $2,000 to $9,999. Dave said, “If a Bedell guitar was cared for properly, it could last over a hundred years. It could become an heirloom by being passed down and enjoyed by several generations of guitar players.”
