Please join us for a very special awards ceremony on December 20, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST. This year we are honored to announce Julie Henning as the 2022 Michael R. Schwaid Bicyclist of the Year. The ceremony will begin with a keynote presentation by Ken McLeod, Policy Director for League of American Bicyclists followed by Karen Kress, Transportation Director for the Tampa Downtown Partnership. Robert Griendling, a past recipient of the award will introduce Julie Henning, the 2022 recipient of the award. Julie will share her courageous story and how she is sparking change in the Tampa Bay area for all bicyclists. The event will be moderated by Julie Bond with the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR).
