Halloween celebrations kick off in late September, lasting till the wee hours of October 31. Outside Tampa Bay, there’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Party at Disney to SeaWorld and Orlando’s spooktaculars, south in Key West is Fantasy Week’s X-rated costume party and Tampa Bay’s Halloween parties, haunted houses, costume contests and film fests are frightfully attractive. Don’t forget to visit Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens and Lowry Park’s ZooBoo. Check out your local malls for more family-friendly events, especially Westfield.
