You don't even have time to digest your turkey this year if you want to snag a rock bottom price on sought after electronics, housewares, and clothing. Black Friday sales begin on Thursday, Thanksgiving night, for some of these big box retailers in the Tampa Bay area.

The best way to conquer some of the deals is to know your plan of action. What item do you want most this year? Which store has the lowest price? What sacrifices will you have to endure to try to grab this item?

While shopping online might provide cheaper options and save time, there are some noteworthy deals in the Tampa Bay area to check out in person.

Target - Doors open at 9pm on Thanksgiving. Target has tons of door busters that will cause heavy traffic into their store this year. Some of the highlights include $349 for a Westinghouse 50” 1080p LCD HDTV, $499 for a Canon Rebel T3 digital camera bundle that includes two lenses, a 4gb memory card and a camera bag, $199 for a PS3, and a free $60 gift card when you buy any iPad. It’s also a great time to load up on DVDs – A wide variety start at $1 and include new movies and television shows. Lastly, spend $50 on apparel, accessories and/or home on Friday between 4am and noon, and get a $10 gift card.

Walmart - First sale starts at 8pm on Thanksgiving and Walmart will have sales throughout the day and night. Starting at 10pm on Thursday, you can find an HP laptop for $279 or an Emerson 40” HDTV for just $198. The Nook Color is going for just $99 and the Sony Speaker Dock for your iPhone is just $48.88—a $40 mark down!

Walmart’s sales are strategically planned through the Black Friday madness. Round 1 begins on Thanksgiving at 8pm, Round 2 at 10pm, and Round 3 begins on Friday at 5am.

Old Navy - Old Navy is full of pep this year with their “Cheermageddon” where everything is on sale. Their Black Friday door busters begin Friday at midnight and last until 4am. Highlights include jeans for $15, fleece pullovers for $5, and women and girls boots for $12. Old Navy’s big attraction is a free Wii U Super Mario game with a $40 purchase. The next wave of sales at Old Navy is from 8am to noon and includes coats ranging in price from $15 to $19.
