The Rack Tampa
By: Sally Baker

It is hard to believe that it has been over a decade since Scott Moore, Owner of Urban Body Clothing, opened his doors in March of 2000. Moore has made such an unmatched staple for both himself and his store in Tampa throughout the years.  His hard work and genuine care for customers has blossomed his store’s growth by relocating to a larger store located on the SoHo street-front.  The doors to the new UBC location opened Friday April 22, 2011 at 6pm to celebrate the Grand Opening.

The new store features front-glass windows and doors with stylish mannequins sporting the season’s hottest looks. Upon entering, every guest will be welcomed with designer clothing options, artwork by local artists, a flat screen television and if lucky enough, Scott Moore himself.

Designers this time around cater to both fashion forward men and women with the popular designers in Moore’s original location, as well as new lines that have been introduced due to having such a larger store.  Men can indulge in over 50 designers showcased for denim, t-shirts, button-ups, swimwear, flips, hats, belts and more.  To name a few:  Hard 8, 1921, Silver, Kinetix, Pistol Pete, Roar, Affliction and many more.   Women are treated to designer lines including Mizmi, Maj, Kat Von D, Red Haute Couture, Miss Me and Affliction Black Premium.  The lists can go on and on, which is more of a reason the trip to Urban Body Clothing in Tampa should be made top priority!

Not only does Moore appreciate his customers by giving them high class treatment and styling, he has involved himself into the community to show support in charities and the local economy in Tampa.  His passion for helping others reflects in both his work and personal life, showing extraordinary care to anyone he runs into.  Because of this, Moore has a loyal following of customers and friends that stem from all over the world including South Africa, Scotland, England and Venezuela.  These strong relationships are also found with the designers that Moore carries.  The designer of 7 Diamonds, for example, has been a close friend and business contact for nearly a decade.

Urban Body Clothing and Scott Moore help make the Tampa Bay community strong and bring the people in the area together with fashion and inspiration.  Check out the new Urban Body Clothing location on 711 S. Howard Ave. Suite 100 and see why so many venture for not just the high end clothing, but the incredible and unique people that pass through on a daily basis.
