North Tampa

North Tampa is known to many as "Bulls Country" after the University of South Florida Bulls. The college, now playing in the Big East Conference, has been building quite a program to hopefully one day be as competitive as the other big Florida schools, University of Florida, FSU & Miami. North Tampa nightlife surrounding the USF campus has plenty of college bars, local dive bars & sports pubs. There are plenty of restaurants in North Tampa that are far enough away from Ybor City to not be flooded with the tourists that come to the area. Although many locals go to Ybor City and Hyde Park for nightlife, just head north and you will be suprised with the numerous amounts of bars & clubs; many catering to the college student incomes. Also in this northern region you will find golf courses, city & state parks & many other recreational activities. So whether you are planning to enjoy a sunny afternoon or a late night of entertainment just head north!
