Tampa Ballet Theatre Announces Dracula Performance

Dracula will be performed at Hillsborough Community Main stage Theatre in Ybor. The performances will be on Saturday, October 18th at 8:00pm and Sunday October 19th at 6:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase starting September 1st. Adult tickets are $25 per ticket, Senior tickets (55+) are $20 per ticket, and Children and College Student tickets are $15 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Tampa Bay Ballet studio, online at www.tampabayballet.com OR www.tampaballettheatre.org, at the theatre, or by calling 813-814-0587. Ticket prices are subject to change.

Dracula is a 3 act ballet and will be based off the 1897 gothic horror book by Bram Stoker. The music chosen to accompany the ballet is various works by composer Wojciech Kilar, the composer of the 1992 movie of Dracula. The story of Dracula follows Johnathan Harker, Mina Murray, and Lucy Westerna in their horrifying encounters with wolves, vampires, and the count himself. Dracula is a disturbing and sensual story about love, death, and the undead.

Dracula will be starring Nathaniel Reyes as Count Dracula, Carolyn Rose as Whilhelmina “Mina” Murray, Amanda Ciotuszynski as Lucy Westerna, and Tyler Anderson as Johnathan Harker.
