If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, there are plenty of places in Tampa to empty your pockets. From indoor malls to outdoor malls and outlets, your experience will change depending on the venue you choose.
When thinking about where to shop, keep in mind what kind of stores you're looking for, food locations nearby to recharge, and the availability of parking. Without further ado, here's the ultimate guide to shopping in Tampa:
Indoor Malls
International Plaza and Bay Street
International Plaza in Tampa is the place you want to go for luxury brands as their stores include, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Mayors Jewelers, one of the top Rolex dealers in the Southeast. Although this is the destination for luxury brands, they feature common brands you’d expect to see at a mall including their anchor stores like Dillard’s and Nordstrom.
Stores are spread out across their two floors with their food court on the second floor. One thing that people love about International Plaza is their dining opinions outside of their food court on Bay Street. There are many sit-down options to choose from such as Brio, Cheesecake Factory, and Rocco’s Tacos. Parking can be found around the mall with surface level, parking garage, and valet options.

The Brandon Mall, as the locals call it, is what you may imagine a mall to look like. The mall is indoors and all contained on one floor. There's one main hall down the middle of the mall with a few wings protruding from it.
The center of the mall features a carousel and the food court with options such as Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, and Charley’s. If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience, there are sit-down restaurants as well, but be sure to make reservations on the weekend because they're typically busy.
There are no luxury stores at this mall, but it features common brands with four anchor stores in JCPenney, Sears, Dillard’s, and Macy’s. All around the mall, there's free self-service surface-level parking.
Westshore is right down the street from International Plaza and, like them, they're an indoor-based multi-level mall in Tampa. They have one of the only Old Navy stores in the area, as well as the largest DSG, JCPenney, Macy's and H&M in the Tampa area!
Westshore also features an attached movie theater with AMC and seven sit-down restaurants including Maggiano's Little Italy, Mitchell's Fish Market, Grimaldi's Pizza, Besito Mexican Restaurant, Irish 31 - Westshore Plaza, P.F. Changs and Seasons 52. Parking can be found around the mall with both surface-level and parking garage options.
Citrus Park shares a lot of similarities with the Brandon Mall, starting with the fact they are both Westfield-run malls. Additionally, they both have a similar layout with the main hall down the middle of the mall.
The center of the Citrus Park mall features a carousel and food court with options such as Subway, Villa, and Chick-fil-A. The mall features no luxury brands but does have common popular stores and anchor stores in Macy’s, JCPenney, Dillard’s, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
In addition to shopping, you can catch the newest movies to hit the theater in the connected Regal Cinemas. Parking is available around the complex with surface-level parking.
Outdoor Shopping
Tampa Premium Outlets is the place you want to go for the best deals. With the stores here being outlets, there are often seasonal closeout deals and expanded clearance sections. Some of the most popular stores include Nike, Michael Kors, and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th.
The complex is outdoors but features awnings throughout so that you’re able to navigate protected from the sun and rain for the majority of the complex. If you are hungry, there are many options from the food court in the center of the complex to locations surrounding.
Parking is available around the complex with surface-level parking but will fill up quickly on busy shopping days.

The Shops at Wiregrass is the place you want to go for the experience. It's an outdoor mall with a road running down the middle of the shops. Although there are spots for parking on the road, it's recommended that you park in the surface-level parking around the shops for an easier parking experience.
The mall features stores that you may expect to see in a regular mall with anchor stores in JCPenney, Macy’s, and Dillard’s. They also have many food options to choose from with quick service locations like Moe’s and Charley’s to sit-down locations such as Red Robin and Yamato Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. Wiregrass is especially beautiful to shop during the holidays because they bring in Christmas trees and do light shows.
