Tampa Triumph unveiled their 2017 models with a special event that had biker enthusiasts burning rubber at their North Dale Mabry location. Music reverberated and party-goers reveled as street riders thrilled! If you were in that room and had the SLIGHTEST desire to go fast, there was no way to resist the desire to slip 765cc's of pure power between your knees by the time Regional Manager Chris Henderson and the good people at Tampa Triumph were done.  Through the fog of smoking tires, I saw pure glee on the faces of the fortunate attending this special event!  The unveiling of the Booneville Bobber, Street Scrambler, Street Cup and the T100 fueled a passion in me to ride again!

"The Triumph brand has brought to the world of motorcyclists many new exciting models, from the three cylinder super lightweight Triumph Daytona 675 which racers use worldwide in road racing, to the retro models like the Bonneville T120 which looks like it came from the 70's,” says Jonathan Landwer, 47, of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Landwer believes strongly in Triumph bikes reminding us that Danny Eslick won the Daytona 200 in 2014 on a Triumph Daytona 675.

Street bikes mash-up rubber with asphalt, torque and performance. It's all about the experience, and Triumph Motorcycles is taking horsepower to unforeseen levels with their 2017 models. As a former street and dirt bike racer, I was more than curious to attend, wanting to see for myself what made 2016 the best year in retail sales for Triumph Dealers in North America and Hinckley Triumph history! Tampa Triumph has consistently been Florida’s #1 Triumph Dealer as well as one of the top ten dealers in North America since 2016. They hit an all-time high in November when they got #1 for all three measured categories - Florida’s Top Dealer, North America’s Top Dealer, and #1 in Customer Service.  With these consistent high marks for Tampa Triumph, it begs a why?  What is so different, right?  Why is everyone flocking to buy Triumphs? Well, I got my answer!

When the newest Booneville Bobber was revealed, this 2017 model, is innovative and elegant and still known to be the bike you want to have when you want full throttle speed. “Hells Bells” from AC/DC was blaring to set the stage for this iconic ride. Features include a hallmark hard tail and a straight line exhaust pipe for rider friendly technology. A floating aluminum seat allows you to adjust for optimum ride height and this beauty comes in four premium colors: ironstone, a Morello red, green/silver and jet black.

Since the launch party, Triumph’s new 765 is available and it doesn’t disappoint. It keeps all the fun character of the Street Triple adding some extra bells and whistles for the new model as well as a chassis upgrade.
