When it comes to culinary greatness and affordability, it can seem like places are few and far between in Tampa.  Sure there are a few great, cheap restaurants, but most of the time it seems like you have to sacrifice one for the other.

717 South could easily be an an exception to this rule.  A Hyde Park favorite for a huge variety of chef-inspired fare and great drinks, 717 is the place to be for a rich culinary atmosphere without breaking the bank.

Even our own Tampa Bay Rays saw this and chose 717 South as the place to hold their annual Thanksmas fundraiser for the homeless this past Friday.  Head coach Joe Maddon and Rays players like David Price and James Shields served patrons a traditional spaghetti dinner to raise funds for the homeless.

717 also boats an assortment of fare for lunch and dinner including small plates, flat breads and pizzas, salads, entrees, pasta, steaks, and more.  Lunchtime favorites include a Macadamia Nut Chicken Sandwich with lettuce, tomato and Swiss on a toasted croissant; Veal loaf Sandwich served on an Italian hoagie with pomodoro sauce & provolone; and a Mongolian Chicken Wrap with
spring mix, Mongolian chicken, crunchy wontons, carrots, and daikon  with sriracha aioli.

Dinner selections at 717 South include Herb & Cheese Flatbreads; entrees like chicken picatta and grilled quick smoked salmon; 717 South Lasagna; and steaks including filet mignon, delmonico, porterhouse, and more.

If this sounds good, head in to 717 South soon and get a taste of what they're all about.  After your visit, don't forget to give them a rate/review on our 717 South business listing.
