The Greater Brandon area is once again going through a growth spurt that has brought thousands of new people to the area. And to serve all those folks, bars and restaurants are creating fun, competitive atmospheres with trivia nights. It's a win-win as the bars get more customers on traditionally-slower weeknights, and the players often see great food or drink specials while getting their competitive juices flowing. Here's a look at some of the best trivia nights in the Brandon area:
We start with a non-traditional bar, as Kraftologee is a fun spot for millennials. They've had trivia nights featuring 90's music and culture, Nickeolodeon shows, Friends episodes and Superhero trivia nights. Add in a specific play area for kids, and decor that includes 80's wrestling figures while serving coffee, beer and wine, trivia nights here can be both relaxing and competitive. Themed trivia nights are Wednesdays.
One of my favorite facts I share about Brandon is we are home to the original Beef O' Brady's. One day there will be a plaque there marking it as a historic location but for now, you can attend trivia each Wednesday night at 7 p.m. and impress your team with knowledge of the location.
World of Beer Brandon is always an option for a great night out for trivia, so check out Quiztaco Tuesdays each week at 7 p.m. for both malted beverages and Mexican. The Brandon World of Beer was one of the first WOB locations to offer a full food menu and liquor. Another historic marker plaque is in order!
Trivia Tuesdays at O'Tooles is one of the better-known trivia nights among people in Brandon and for good reason. Irish pub style location, great prizes including cash for the winners.
The Brass Tap in the restaurant wing of Westfield Brandon Town Center has trivia every Tuesday night. Past themes here have included Disney movies, 80's and 90's movies and pro wrestling.
