Bay Area burrito freaks, we know you're out there and this one's for you.  Coming right up on its 2-month anniversary, the newest Burrito Boarder location in Carrollwood is the place to be if you're a fan of fresh, ginormous burritos and other classic, SoCal-Mexican inspired fare.

Fresh off the success of its original, Downtown St. Petersburg location, this new Burrito Boarder in the North Tampa area aims to replicate the same great concept that's made their original location a St. Pete staple since its inception in 2008.

Fashioned as a laid-back surf-inspired hangout, Burrito Boarder is a fast-casual burrito joint focused on the absolute freshness when it comes to each and every ingredient they utilize.  Everything is prepared in house and fresh every day without a bagged veggie, bean, meat, salsa or any other item in sight.

Burrito Boarder's quick too if you're on the go with little time to spare.  It's set up, for lack of a better word, Subway-style where you go down the line picking your meat, fillings, and other items for your customizable creation.

Aside from a burrito, you can opt for a naked burrito bowl, a salad bowl, tacos, fajita burrito with grilled onions and peppers, nachos, or a quesadilla.  Once you've made that selection choose from an assortment of fillings including carne asada, ground beef,  grilled chicken, pulled pork, grilled fish, or grilled veggies.   Top it off with a huge variety of extra including  seasoned rice, black or pinto beans, an assortment of cheeses, jalapenos and more.

Burrito Boarder's menu also boasts a variety of fresh soups like black bean and tortilla as well as an ample beer and wine selection.

The Carrollwood location is right next to the Carrollwood World of Beer and perfect for some after-drinkin' munchies.  They're open from 11 a.m. till midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. till 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.  Stop in and see what Burrito Boarder is all about.  They'd love to have you.
