If you've ever been looking to get a taste, a best-of sampling, if you will, from some of the top restaurants across the Bay Area, the next two weeks might be a good time to head out and explore the culinary landscape in Tampa.

It's called Dine Tampa Bay 2011 and it goes down at over 60 restaurants across our beloved Bay Area. For the next two weeks, participating restaurants will offer specially priced 3-course menus (appetizer, entree, desert) you can choose from that highlight the culinary prowess and originality of their respective establishments.  Depending on the restaurant, these 3-course meals will run you anywhere from $25 to $45 with tax and gratuity not included.

Dine Tampa Bay 2011 begins August 19 and runs until September 2.  Choose from over 60 restaurants on both sides of Tampa Bay including Datz ($25), 400 Beach Seafood and Tap House ($25),  Avanzare ($45), Yacht Starship ($25),  SideBern's ($45), Brio Tuscan Grille ($35) , Capital Grille ($35) and many, many more.
