Irish 31 is a newly opened Irish pub in Hyde Park Village aiming to be the next great neighborhood hangout in the area.  Rife with a chef driven menu, full bar, live entertainment, big screens and more, Irish 31 definitely has the pieces in place to reach this potential.

Open for about two weeks now, Irish 31 is a contemporary Irish pub right at home with many of the other modern-minded eateries in Hyde Park Village.  Their concept isn't a grandiose one; taking the Irish pub theme and adding their own modern twists with comfort and intimacy in mind.  This is a place where you could take the significant other out for a nice meal or just hang out and watch the big game.

The menu at Irish 31 seems to work with the same mindset.  There are Irish classics like their Size of Ireland Pot Pie with chicken, carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, and peas in gravy and topped with puff pastry; and bangers and mash with English sausage and an Irish Boxty (potato cake) served with a port wine mushroom sauce.  Things get inventive with Irish 31 menu items like the St. Patty Melt sandwich - burger topped with thin sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, caramelized onions and horseradish on toasted rye - and the potato pub skins - fried red potatoes stuffed with sauerkraut, corned beef and Swiss cheese served with Emerald Isle dipping sauce.

Irish 31 has events like Lucky Lady Tuesdays and Thursday socials all throughout the week that feature live entertainment, the big games on TV, and drink specials at the bar.  Support a new, local business and check out Irish 31 for a good, Irish pub experience in a contemporary Hyde Park atmosphere.
