Irish 31 is now accepting nominations for their annual Spring Cheers to Pub-Lic Service awards, which celebrates 20 of Hillsborough and Pasco County's most deserving teachers with a $1,000 prize and recognition from the popular franchise of local pubs. Everyone's favorite Irish pub and eatery has teamed with the Tampa Bay BuccaneersThe Junior League of Tampa, the DeBartolo Family Foundation and Ed Morse Cadillac Brandon to celebrate the IRISH (Influential, Reliable, Impassioned, Selfless, Humble) in teachers that have an undisputed impact in our area's youth.

Irish 31 has opened up nominations through April 15th and it's never been easier to nominate your favorite influential teacher. Nominations can be submitted online with Irish 31 with a name, email, phone number, grade they instruct, school where they teach and a brief summary of why your nominee deserves a Cheers to Pub-Lic Service! Entrees are limited to 1500 words, and up to three photos can be submitted with the nomination. This is a fantastic opportunity to thank an influential teacher in your community, and support a great local business in the process.

The pub house and eatery encourages friends, family, fellow educators, parents and students to nominate a teacher that has made a true difference in their life, the lives of their classmates and the community. Each individual pub in the Tampa Bay Area (Hyde Park Village, Westshore PlazaWiregrass and Westchase) will recognize, celebrate and reward five stand-out teachers who used their platform for good in our area.

"Irish 31 Pub House & Eatery is excited to partner with elite organizations to use our pubs as a source for good by celebrating the IRISH in those that have an undeniable impact on our youth," says Jay Mize, CEO of Irish 31 and former USF Football original class member. "We are now accepting nominations for our spring Cheers to Pub-lic Service Awards, which will celebrate 20 of our most deserving teachers with $1,000 each."

Past beneficiaries will not be able to be nominated again, however former nominees can be resubmitted if they did not win the prize in a prior year.
