PDQ, the still relatively new fast-casual chicken restaurant in South Tampa, is on course to open at least four more locations throughout the Tampa Bay area within the next year.

Started by the same brains behind Outback Steakhouse, PDQ serves up a variety of chicken tenders, sandwiches, salads, and more in a fast-casual and contemporary setting.

We visited PDQ ("People Dedicated to Quality" or "Pretty Darn Quick") back in December for our Taste Tour of 813 and can definitely attest, they've got a great concept on their hands.

In addition to deliciously fresh and fried chicken tenders, they've also got great, hand cut fries, shakes, and a Coke Freestyle machine with over 100 different soft drink choices.

The next PDQ will open at the Shops at Wiregrass around May, followed by a Carrollwood location in June, a St. Petersburg location in July, and a North Carolina one at a yet to be determined date.

PDQ officials are also eyeing future locations in Sarasota, Brandon, Clearwater, and the USF area.  Stay tuned as more news develops regarding the ever-growing PDQ.
