Mangroves offers two indoor dining levels, an outdoor dining space and a lounge featuring a stain glass lit bar. Adorned with stylish Italian light fixtures, billowing sheer curtains, hanging glass cable cocktail tables, artistic furniture, private outdoor cabana and more, this elegant eatery can handle any occasion—including weddings and holiday parties.

Every Friday night, Mangroves SoHo Productions serves up Unwind at Rewind, where the Groove goes back to the 80s, a stylish bar menu and drink specials party from 5-10 p.m. featuring short rib sliders with truffled parmesan fries, tuna tartare, truffled mac and cheese, short rib tacos, Creole calamari, flatbread pizzas, baked cashew-coated brie and more for only $5-$8.

Its good grazing after work, especially the $2 off all cocktails and wine, $1 off beers from 5-8 p.m. as well as Sangria pitchers $20, mojito pitchers $30 (classic, peach, raspberry) and margarita pitchers $35 ($45 for top shelf). On Friday and Saturday nights, the dj spins the crowd from 11 p.m. to close.

Serving full dinner until midnight and a late night menu until closing daily, this Tampa classy lady seems to dance to a Manhattan beat, from décor to food-as-art platings. Seafood lovers enjoy lobster stuffed grouper, shrimp and crab-crusted mahi mahi, ginger and curry rubbed salmon, crispy Southwestern shrimp and a mix of stone crab claws and Alaskan king crab legs.

Beef aficiandos can’t go wrong with the au poivre or grilled filet mignon, ribeye with foie gras butter, chimichurri hangar steak or the gorgonzola-crusted NY strip and jump lump crab. Rounding out the entrees is an excellent shrimp pasta and chicken roulade filled with brie, pralines and granny smith apples.

The side dishes are equally stellar, especially the toasted orzo, confetti rice, shellfish jambalaya, caramelized shallot mashed potatoes and vegetables so perfectly prepared, you swear you were picking them in the garden as you dine.
