Description
Join us on the Tampa Bay Lightning ice for the second annual skate event to benefit cancer research and patient services at Moffitt Cancer Center!
Event Details
Special guests include Lightning Alumni, ThunderBug, the Lightning Girls.
Tickets for the event are $35 for skaters and $10 for nonskaters. All proceeds from this fundraising event will go to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
All guests are required to sign a waiver upon entering AMALIE Arena whether or not they are skating. An entire family can go on one waiver. The waiver must be printed, completed and brought to the arena on the day of the event.
All guests must be wearing a wristband in order to enter the ice.
Children 6 years of age and younger need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the ice. Parents/guardians must be wearing ice skate or ice cleats over closed-toed or ruber-soled shoes in order to enter the ice.
Skates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage guests to bring their own ice skate in order to help with the limited supply of skate sizes.
Although not mandatory, it is recommended for anyone who feels unsafe or nervous on the ice to wear protectective gear (i.e. helmet, knee pads, elbow pads.) Participants are encouraged to bring their own gear.
All skate sessions are limited to 45-minutes.
No food or drinks are permitted on the ice
No hockey pucks or sticks will be permitted on the ice.
