Event Details
Gaspar - A Pirate Fantasy is a one day only play going down at the Straz Center in Downtown Tampa. Penned in 1993 by renowned choreographer and playwright, Christopher Fleming, the ballet tells a story of heroes, villains, unrepentant love, and adventure based on the legend of Jose Gaspar.
There will be two showings of the play on Sunday, January 29 at 1 and 6 p.m. Regularly priced tickets start at $19. To purchase tickets or get more information, visit the event website listed above.
Proceeds from the ballet will benefit Red Cross Tampa Bay, YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, and Drew's Shoes, a charity providing dance shoes for underprivileged children.
