Ignite Tampa Bay 2013 is taking place on Thursday, April 25 at the Tampa Theatre in Downtown Tampa.
Ignite Tampa Bay will center around a diverse series of fast-paced, bite-sized presentations from community members sharing their personal or professional passions.
Speakers will include Tampa International Airport CEO Joe Lopano giving a talk called "TIA: Gateway to Tampa's Future"; Sophie B. Liu, a a Mendenhall Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) talking about crisis crowdsourcing and social media in disaster situations; "You Wear Clothes? Tampa Bay's Fashion Scene & Why It Matters" by Tampa Bay Fashion Week's Nancy Vaughn, and more.
Tickets to Ignite Tampa Bay at the Tampa Theatre are $16 each or $40 for four. Student tickets are $12 with valid ID. For tickets and more information on Ignite Tampa Bay, visit the event website listed above.
