Friends of the Riverwalk, in partnership with the City of Tampa, will produce the Downtown Tampa Independence Day Fireworks Celebration on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 at 9 p.m. The fireworks will take place in front of the Tampa Convention Center.

Event Details

Firework viewing will be available along the Tampa Riverwalk adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center as well as from other venues in the vicinity that offer a direct view of the harbor. Come out early to places like The Sail, Jackson's Bistro Bar & Sushi, American Social Tampa, Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina and Yacht StarShip Cruises & Events to enjoy food, entertainment and fun all while getting a good spot to view the fireworks.

**This July 4th fireworks display has been traditionally held at Channelside Bay Plaza. However, due to the current construction occurring on the waterfront park, a new location was selected to play host to the 2018 celebration.

This event is made possible through the support of our community partners including Water Street Tampa, Tampa General Hospital, Yacht Starship Cruises & Events, American Social, Jackson’s Bistro and the Marriott Waterside.
