The Florida Aquarium in partnership with USF Center for Autism & Related Disabilities is hosting a Day of Discovery specifically tailored for the enjoyment of individuals with sensory differences and their families.

Event Details

A Day of Discovery provides an Aquarium experience specifically tailored for the enjoyment of individuals with sensory differences and their families. The entire campus will be open for exploring; including engaging touch habitats featuring moon jellies, stingrays, anemones and so much more! The Splash Pad will also be open – so plan to bring a bathing suit, water shoes (optional) and a towel. Back by popular demand - the 501st Tampa Bay Legion! From a galaxy far, far away, this cast of characters will safely roam the Aquarium for an unforgettable adventure. Café Ray will also be open during this event. The admission to Day of Discovery is only for families and children with sensory differences and/or accessibility challenges. Special effects, lights and music will be adapted for those with sensory differences. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Parking is free in the Aquarium lot located north of the Aquarium off the east side of Channelside Drive at York Street. Tickets are non-transferrable.
