Event Details

This event serves to raise funds, increase awareness, and celebrate the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease. We invite you to join us for this impactful event.

As the national signature walk event of the Parkinson’s Foundation, Moving Day is taking place in over 50 communities across the United States in 2024. Since its inception, Moving Day events across the country have raised over $45 million and brought more than 186,000 supporters together.

Funds raised through Moving Day:
• Deliver quality care to the more than 1 million people living with Parkinson’s disease in the U.S.;
• Fund cutting-edge research aimed at better treatment and care;
• Provide free resources for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.

Moving Day is more than just a walk. It is a fun and inspiring event that raises awareness and funds while uniting families, friends and communities in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Each event features fitness demonstrations (because exercise is vital to delaying the progression of Parkinson’s disease symptoms), information booths, the signature We Move Ceremony and the Moving Day Walk.

Here are some ways you can help:

• Create a walk team
• Make a donation
• Share information with family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers
• Volunteer at Moving Day Tampa Bay
• Refer a sponsor
