What is a Zombie Run?
-It is a Zombie Infested 5k Obstacle Course/Trail Run.

What will we do?​
-You have 2 options... RUN from the zombies (register as bait!), or take your turn as a Zombie (join the Zombie Horde).

-Runners select a wave/start time, run 3.1 miles with obstacles, and
try to save yourself from the zombies….​

-Zombies hunt in 1.5 hour shifts, and are staged throughout the race
course

How does it work?

-Runners get 3 flags on a “flag football” style belt. Protect these flags, they’re your “life.”

-Run, climb, crawl, jump… but cross the finish with at least one flag
intact and YOU’VE SURVIVED! Lose those flags, and you’re
INFECTED (but finish the race course, no matter what. You don't
"turn" yet as it takes time).

-Extra “life” is available for purchase at checkout. You need the help,
everyone knows it.

​On December 22nd, racers will embark on an apocalyptic adventure at Little Everglades Ranch. Survival seekers will face their fears as they flee from flesh-starved zombies through wooded trails, murky swamps, and adrenaline-spiking obstacles. We’re offering makeup for those that need it to become a zombie.
​
All registrants receive a T-shirt (blood spatters optional), finisher's medal, and entry to the post-race Apocalypse party complete with music, and food. Zombies, corpses, and course conquerors can toast to their survival or tragic defeat with an ice cold brew (ages 21 and up), or refuel with a bevy of other tasty bites and beverages. Minimum age is 14 with a parental waiver for this race. And because even zombies have a heart (and quite possibly yours too), a portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross. The first wave of the apocalypse begins at 9am, and the last wave at 3:00pm.
